Bad feedback, echo, can’t hear, hard to operate, our teleconference is a failure! These were just a few of the Hancock Wood Electrical Cooperative’s dismal comments when asked what their current community room sound problems were.
Faced with this challenge; Sound Solutions of Ohio, LLC of Tiffin, Ohio was chosen to design and install a new system which not only eliminated the problems but enhanced the sound in the room to a professional level which received rave reviews.
“Best sound ever; I can’t believe how clear it is, how did you do it?”
Sound Solutions of Ohio, LLC did it by first listening to the client; assessing their needs and then set a plan in motion to exceed the expectations. Chief sound engineer Dennis Cimo designed the system using two BiampTesira T1 AVB processors which provided the necessary solution to eliminate the constant irritating feedback and echo from the 13 microphones which were used at the boardroom meetings.
Installing new Shure Microflex wireless gooseneck microphones were added to improve not only the sound but look clean and elegant in the room. Custom programming and mixing of all the sources along with careful placement of new Community D5 high quality ceiling speakers provided a flawless teleconferencing venue. A Biamp wall mounted TEC-1 controller and a HD1 Teleconference dialer were added; providing a complete solution for easy operation of the many different types of multi- media presentations used in the room.
Shure Microflex wireless handheld and lavalier style microphones for training presentations completed the system.
The system was completed on time, on budget, and the client was thrilled with the results. One of the happy board members declared with a smile, “It sounds great and it’s almost too easy to operate..great job”.
