Historical building receives new Audio/Video Upgrade
The Wood County Museum in Bowling Green, Ohio houses a fine historical collection of artifacts of its long and varied history; a building which for over 120 years old served as an infirmary and nursing home.
Today,in addition to the interesting historical exhibits, the museum hosts “The Tea Series”, a series of monthly events featuring historical presentations from highly knowledgeable and interesting speakers.
Sound Solutions of Ohio, LLC was selected to provide a new audio/video system that would greatly improve the audio reinforcement and video display capability for these presentations.
A new complete sound system was installed featuring Audio Technica wireless microphones, JBL Profession HST wide-coverage loudspeakers, and a BiampTesiraforte’ audio processor which provided a consistent, easy to operate, control interface. Three 70” commercial LED displays were installed to enhance the presentations and a Vivitek Novo Enterprise wireless presentation solution was installed to allow any tablets, phones, and computers to easily display their device from any location in the room.
Auralex Acoustical 4’x4’ fabric panels were installed on the walls to improve the acoustics in the room.
Kelli Kling, the museum director commented after the first tea, “Thank you! The system is working great and the tea ladies loved it!”
